About
Hans-Peter Wagner is a Professor in the Department of Physics at the University of Cincinnati's College of Arts and Sciences. His research utilizes molecular beam epitaxy (MBE) and organic molecular beam deposition (OMBD) techniques to study semiconductor nanostructures, organic thin films, and hybrid metal-organic-semiconductor systems.
Dr. Wagner's research focuses on exciton transition dynamics and coherent relaxation processes in nanostructured materials. His work examines linear and nonlinear optical properties in hybrid plasmonic waveguides, phase coherent photorefractivity in quantum wells, and lasing phenomena in nanowires and photonic crystal arrays.
Current investigations explore strong coupling regimes in exciton-plasmon interactions using semiconductor nanowire-metal nanoparticle systems and 2D semiconductor-metal nanotriangle configurations. These studies have applications in quantum information technologies and nanoscale photonic devices.
