Hans-Peter Schertl

Dr. Hans-Peter Schertl is a Professor in the Department of Petrology and Geochemistry at Ruhr University Bochum's Faculty of Geosciences. His research focuses on high- and ultrahigh-pressure metamorphic processes, subduction/exhumation dynamics, and fluid-rock interactions, with field studies spanning the Dora-Maira Massif (Italy), Kokchetav Massif (Kazakhstan), Rio San Juan Complex (Dominican Republic), and multiple Chinese orogens.
