Hannes Qualo

Hannes Qualo is a Researcher at the University of Potsdam, affiliated with the Chair for Growth, Integration and Sustainable Development. He holds a Master of Science in Economics from the Free University of Berlin, where he also completed his bachelor’s degree. During his studies, he spent a year abroad at the University of Birmingham (UK) and worked as a student assistant at the Chair of Macroeconomics under Prof. Emanuel Gasteiger. Since March 2019, he has been a research assistant at his current position.

His research focuses on macroeconomic topics such as monetary policy, expectation formation, post-growth models, inequality dynamics, and time series econometrics. He is based at the University of Potsdam’s Campus Griebnitzsee, where he can be reached via email or by appointment.
