Hanne Dewinter is a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Educational Sciences at Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB). Her research focuses on participatory arts practices, urban living dynamics, and the intersection of cultural heritage with wellbeing. She holds a PhD from Ghent University, where her doctoral work explored participatory arts in urban contexts. Starting October 2024, she leads an FWO-funded junior postdoc project investigating arts' social impacts beyond traditional participation frameworks.
