Dr. Hannah Rayment-Jones is an NIHR Advanced Research Fellow in the Department of Women and Children's Health at King's College London. A practicing midwife with expertise in continuity of care models for vulnerable populations, her research addresses maternal health inequalities through realist evaluation methodologies and health data science.
Her NIHR-funded PhD investigated maternity care models for women with low socioeconomic status, followed by research on improving ethnicity and socioeconomic data recording in maternity systems. Current fellowship examines health impacts of migration policies on women with no recourse to public funds, collaborating with Maternity Action and Birth Companions.
Additional projects include national evaluation of Maternal Mental Health Services and development of the 'Hope Boxes' intervention for mother-infant separation cases. She maintains clinical practice focused on women with social risk factors.
