Hannah Lammin is a Senior Lecturer in Media (Theory) at the University of Greenwich's School of Design, where she also serves as Programme Leader for BA Hons Media and Communications. She joined the university in 2019 after teaching at University of the Arts London's Camberwell College of Arts and London College of Communication.
Her interdisciplinary research bridges creative practice and theoretical inquiry, drawing from her background in dance, performance design, site-specific art, and digital theatre. Lammin's scholarly work focuses on media philosophy and the exploration of conceptual ideas through aesthetic forms.
Her teaching encompasses critical theories of space and time, affect theory, and non-representational theory. Previous positions include Associate Lecturer at University of the Arts London (2013-2019) and Research Assistant at University of Greenwich (2014-2015). She completed her AHRC-funded PhD at the University of Greenwich (2008-2016).
