Hannah Jackson is a Doctoral Researcher at the Lancaster University Management School in the Department of Organisation, Work and Technology (2021–2024). She earned a BSc in Organisational Behavior (1st class) from Lancaster University and an MSc in Psychology (Distinction) from the University of Nottingham. Prior to her doctoral studies, Hannah worked in industry at GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) and Mars, gaining experience in HR, Operations, Sales, and Marketing, including a role as Senior Brand Manager for Fruity Confectionery.
Research Interests: Her work investigates how contemporary work environments prioritize activities aimed at self-development and self-understanding. Using qualitative interview data, she analyzes the implications of managerial practices focused on transforming individual identities within organizations.
Hannah has actively contributed to academic discourse through participation in conferences such as the 18th Organization Studies Workshop and the 15th Philosophy of Management Conference, as well as editorial work for the Research Into Ethical Issues in Organisations journal. Her recent publication at the 2024 Conference Paper highlights trends in organizational self-transformation and workplace ethics.
