Hannah Bush

Hannah Bush is a Senior Lecturer at Purdue University in Indianapolis, IN, affiliated with the Purdue Language and Cultural Exchange (PLaCE) program. Her research spans applied linguistics, intercultural competence, creativity, and health promotion.

• Education: B.A. in English (Concordia University, Irvine, CA), M.A. in Linguistics with TESOL specialization (Oakland University, Rochester, MI), M.S. Ed. in Learning Design & Technology (Purdue University), and current MPH candidate at Indiana University (Indianapolis, IN).

Her work focuses on curriculum development for language and cultural exchange programs, integrating learning design and technology to enhance inclusive education. She co-authored a chapter on virtual learning spaces in 2022 and has presented at conferences like TESOL International and AECT Design and Development Showcase. Hannah’s outreach includes teaching first-year students about wellness and collaborating with institutions on intercultural communication initiatives.
