Hanna Terletska

Dr. Hanna Terletska is an Associate Professor in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU). Her research focuses on condensed matter theory, particularly in computational many-body physics, strongly correlated electrons, and disordered systems. She holds a PhD from Florida State University (2011), an MS from Minnesota State University (2005), and a BS from Drohobych Ivan Franko State Pedagogical University (2002).

Terletska leads the Quantum Materials Group at MTSU, emphasizing theoretical and computational studies of quantum materials. She has received prestigious awards, including the NSF Early CAREER Award (2020–2025) and the KITP visiting Scholar Award (2018–2020). Her work includes collaborations with institutions like Oak Ridge National Lab and the University of California, Santa Barbara.

Her research trends involve advancing methods like the typical medium dynamical cluster approximation (TM-DCA) to study Anderson localization and quantum criticality. Presentations span topics such as electron localization in Hubbard models and computational tools for disordered systems.

Awards also include grants from NSF-OAC, ORNL CNMS, and FRCAC for projects on functional quantum materials. She actively engages in international conferences and has mentored students in NSF-funded initiatives.
