Hanna Allemann

Hanna Allemann is a Lecturer at Linköping University's Department of Health, Medicine and Caring Sciences (HMV), within the Division of Nursing Sciences and Reproductive Health (ORH). She is affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (MEDFAK). Her roles include teaching in the nursing program (focusing on communication and equitable care), serving as deputy course coordinator for the fourth semester, and participating in the undergraduate programme committee and Forum for Gender Studies and Equality. She completed her PhD in 2023 and is actively involved in research on

• support for informal carers of heart failure patients,
• co-design of digital interventions,
• exploring AI's potential in healthcare (e.g., using large language models).

Her research spans

• and user-centered AI design.

She has collaborated on a randomized controlled trial testing a digital support program for informal carers and initiated an AI project with Azure/Copilot. Her educational background includes a master’s in visual communication (graphic design, web design), enriching her interdisciplinary approach.

Publications emphasize ICT-based interventions, caregiver perceptions, and co-design methodologies in cardiac care contexts. She is part of the CESAR-Network (Collaboration and Exchange in Swedish cardiovascular cAring Research) and contributes to nursing education programs in Linköping and Norrköping.
