Hank Abrams

Hank Abrams serves as Associate Professor and Department Chair of Social Sciences at the University of Texas of the Permian Basin within the College of Arts and Humanities. He concurrently holds the position of Coordinator for the Master of Public Administration & Leadership (MPAL) Program.

His research focuses on Public Administration and Leadership frameworks, with specialized expertise in Policy Analysis, Organizational Behavior within governmental contexts, Public Policy formulation, and Nonprofit Management systems. These interconnected fields drive his curriculum development for the MPAL program and inform his administrative leadership in the Department of Social Sciences.

As MPAL Program Coordinator, Abrams oversees academic advising, curriculum design, and program administration for graduate students pursuing careers in public service leadership. He maintains office hours in MB 4100 and is accessible via email abrams_h@utpb.edu or phone (432) 552-2342.
