Hande Temur

Hande Temur is a Lecturer at Özyeğin University's Department of Pilotage under the Faculty of Aviation and Astronautics. She holds a Master's degree (2020) and currently pursues a Doctorate in Atmospheric Sciences at Istanbul Technical University, following a Bachelor's in Meteorological Engineering (2013). Her career includes 5 years as a project engineer in renewable energy, a TÜBİTAK-funded research assistant role during her Master's, and teaching aviation meteorology at FENIX and ERAH flight schools since 2020.

Her research focuses on Atmospheric Sciences, specializing in Aviation Meteorology, Synoptic Meteorology, and Climate. This expertise informs her instruction in aviation meteorology for pilot training courses (ATPL/PPL) and her ongoing doctoral studies.

At Özyeğin University, she contributes to pilot education through specialized meteorology instruction while advancing her academic research in atmospheric systems.
