Han Weng

Dr. Han Weng is a Lecturer in Soil Science at the School of Agriculture, Food and Wine, University of Adelaide. His research focuses on soil processes, particularly soil organic carbon dynamics and climate change mitigation strategies. He has contributed to global policy-making through impactful publications in Nature Climate Change and Soil Biology & Biochemistry, which were cited by UN agencies and IPCC reports. Dr. Weng collaborates with industry partners including GRDC, NSW DPI, and CSIRO, and has developed novel techniques to assess soil health under climate extremes. His work emphasizes practical solutions for sustainable soil management in agricultural systems.
