Hamit Akçay

Hamit Akçay is an Associate Professor in the Department of Management and Labor Sociology at Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University's Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences. He serves as the Head of the Department and has held the position of Doctor Lecturer from 2018 to present, and previously from 2016–2019. His research focuses on business ethics, human resources management, leadership, and the impact of social media in organizational contexts.

He has contributed significantly to the academic community, authoring 11 books/chapters, 7 articles, and presenting 5 papers/congresses within his department. His work bridges theoretical frameworks with practical applications in management and labor sociology.

Student meetings are held on Thursdays from 08:45-11:15 in designated time slots. His professional activities include academic duties and administrative leadership within the department.
