Hamish Kerr

Hamish Kerr, MD, is a Clinical Professor and board-certified Primary Care Sports Medicine physician affiliated with Albany Medical College. He specializes in Sports Medicine and Concussions (Sports-Related), with a focus on musculoskeletal medicine, injury prevention, and sports medicine research. Dr. Kerr holds dual board certifications in Internal Medicine/Pediatrics and Sports Medicine. He serves as a team physician for Siena College, US Rugby Sevens, the United States Olympic Committee, and the Scottish Football Association.

Educational background includes a Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) from the University of Glasgow (1998), followed by residency at Albany Medical College (2003) and a Sports Medicine Fellowship at Boston Children's Hospital (2006).
