Hallie Cohen is Professor of Art and former Chair (2004–2017) of the Department of Art and Art History at Marymount Manhattan College, where she has taught since 1974. She is also the Director of the Hewitt Gallery of Art (2013–present), curating interdisciplinary exhibitions that explore identity, migration, trauma, and the imagination. She earned her M.F.A. from the Maryland Institute College of Art and B.F.A. from the Tyler School of Art.
