About
Dr Halina Mikolajek is a Research Fellow in X-ray Crystallography and NMR at the School of Biological Sciences, University of Southampton, within the Faculty of Environmental and Life Sciences. Her work focuses on protein structure-function relationships through advanced biophysical techniques.
- PhD in X-ray Crystallography (University of Southampton, 2008)
- BSc in Biochemistry with Physiology (University of Southampton, 2004)
Research combines:
- Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR)
- X-ray crystallography
- Isothermal titration Calorimetry (ITC)
Investigating:
- Elongation factor 2 kinase (EF2K) activation mechanisms
- Calcium/Calmodulin-dependent protein kinase regulation
- Protein-ligand interaction dynamics
