Halil Erhan

Halil Erhan is a Professor of Interactive Systems and Design at Simon Fraser University's School of Interactive Arts and Technology, where he co-directs the Computational Design Lab. His research investigates design as a situated, cognitive, and collaborative process, developing tools to enhance capabilities for creating built environments and interactive systems.

His research spans computational design, design analytics, visual analytics, and spatial cognition. Current projects include developing interactive interfaces for design analytics, human-centered computational systems for creativity support, and methods for multidisciplinary collaboration in design decision-making.
