Hakan Acaroğlu

Dr. Hakan Acaroğlu is a Professor of Economics at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Economics at Eskisehir Osmangazi University. He holds a B.S. in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (2002), M.S. in Economics (2005), and Ph.D. in Economics (2010). His career progression includes roles as Research Assistant (2003), Assistant Professor (2011–2018), and Associate Professor (2018–2024) before becoming a full Professor in 2024. His research focuses on Energy Economics, Economic Growth, and Environmental Sustainability, particularly renewable energy integration, electricity markets, and sustainable development.
