Haijun Gong

Haijun Gong, Ph.D., is a Professor of Statistics at Saint Louis University (SLU), tenured in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, College of Arts and Sciences. He holds a Ph.D. in Physics from Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) and has held academic positions at SLU since 2012, including roles as Associate Professor (2017–2025) and Assistant Professor (2012–2017). He also served as an Associate Professor at the Australian National University (ANU) from 2018 to 2019. His research interests span Statistics, Bioinformatics, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Quantum Computing, and Model Checking.
