Haifei Shi

Dr. Haifei Shi is a Professor in the Biology Department at Miami University. Her research focuses on neural and hormonal control of energy metabolism, with particular emphasis on obesity pathogenesis, sex hormone influences, and cancer metabolism. She directs investigations into brown adipose tissue thermogenesis and metabolic dysregulation using physiological, biochemical, and molecular techniques.
