Dr. Hadwiga Schörner is a researcher at the Austrian Archaeological Institute (ÖAI) and has been actively involved in academic work since 2001. She studied German and History as a teacher (First State Examination in 1994), followed by a PhD in Classical Archaeology (2001) from Bamberg and Jena universities. Her current role involves editing volumes for the Corpus Vasorum Antiquorum (CVA Vienna, University Collections) under the Austrian Academy of Sciences, and she previously contributed to the Lise Meitner project (FWF M1819) focused on reorienting Classical Archaeology in Vienna.

- Historical evolution of classical archaeology
