Hadley Nunes is a Lecturer in the Department of Art and Art History at the University of Hawai'i at Mānoa, teaching Beginning Drawing and Advanced Color. Her studio practice is located in Mānoa Valley.
Her creative work spans painting, performance, and curation, emphasizing themes of human/nature interconnectivity and ambiguity between abstraction and figuration. Exhibitions include pieces in The William Louis-Dreyfus Foundation collection (Katonah, NY) and the Howards Hughes collection (Honolulu, HI).
Nunes has participated in international residencies in the U.S., France, and Japan, exploring symbiotic relationships between artistic practice and environmental dialogue.
