Hadley Mozer is an Associate Professor & Chair of the Department of English at Flagler College. He holds a Ph.D. and M.A. in English from Baylor University, and a B.A. in English/History from Houston Baptist University. His primary specialization covers the Romantic Period with secondary expertise in Victorian literature.
His research explores Byron, Shelley, 18th-19th century advertising, literary celebrity, and the picturesque. Teaching responsibilities include Composition, British Literature, Literary Criticism, Gothic Novel, Slavery Studies, and Environmental Literature courses.
Awards include the 2010 Best Article Prize from the European Romantic Review and 2006 Honorable Mention from the Keats-Shelley Association. Professional memberships include MLA, North American Society for Romanticism, and Byron Society of America.
