HASAN HACIŞEVKİ

Professor Hasan Hacışevki serves as Department Head of Mechanical Engineering within the Faculty of Engineering at Eastern Mediterranean University. His academic career spans over three decades with continuous contributions to fluid dynamics and energy systems research.

Professor Hacışevki has supervised 4 PhD candidates and 19 Master's students since 2004, with ongoing supervision extending to 2025. His advisees have explored diverse topics including aerodynamic optimization, solar air heating systems, and control mechanisms for vehicle dynamics. The research aligns closely with EMU's Electric Vehicle Development Center (EVDC) initiatives, suggesting active participation in this research hub.

His laboratory work emphasizes experimental fluid dynamics testing with tandem bluff body configurations, complemented by computational fluid dynamics simulations. Current research trajectories indicate growing interest in multi-source energy systems integrating geothermal and solar technologies for district-scale applications.
