HAMİD CANER

Assoc. Prof. Dr. HAMİD CANER is an Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Mathematics and Science Education at the Faculty of Education, Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU). His academic career includes roles in educational leadership and chemistry research. He holds a PhD in Chemistry from EMU (2002), an MS in Chemistry from EMU (1994), and a BS in Chemistry from Middle East Technical University (1989).

Prof. Caner has supervised over 17 theses, including ongoing research on leadership styles in academia, organizational climate in schools, and teacher motivation. His contributions include co-supervising studies on dye-sensitized solar cells and collaborative learning in science education.
