H. Kevin Fulk

Dr. H. Kevin Fulk is an Associate Professor of Information Systems in the School of Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, and Business Law at Western Carolina University's College of Business. He holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Kansas School of Law, an MBA from the University of Kansas, and a Ph.D. in Management Information Systems from the University of Houston.

His research focuses on information systems implementation challenges, the positive societal impact of technology, and applications of technology in legal practice and access to legal services. Teaching interests include productivity applications, computer networking, IT project management, database management, and ethical technology use.

Recent work emphasizes AI in education (e.g., generative AI’s effects on learning and ethics), legal technology (e.g., combating textbook piracy), and organizational compassion through IT. His 2022 article on AI-driven interview preparation won the Best Pedagogy Paper Award.
