Professor Håvard Dalen is affiliated with the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), Department of Circulation and Medical Imaging. He is also a cardiologist at St. Olav’s University Hospital and Levanger Hospital. His research focuses on innovative ultrasound diagnostics, clinical applications of new ultrasound modalities, and understanding cardiac disease development. Dalen chairs the Clinical Academic Group for Improved Cardiac Diagnostic Imaging and the National Specialisation Committee in Cardiology. He leads cardiovascular assessments in the HUNT Study, a major population health survey in Nord-Trøndelag.
