Günter Schiepek

Günter Schiepek is a Professor at the University Clinic for Psychiatry, Psychotherapy and Psychosomatics and the University Institute for Synergetics and Psychotherapy Research. His research focuses on clinical psychology, psychotherapy methodologies, telehealth applications, and mental health services. He has led projects such as the 'Counteracting Tinnitus by Acoustic Coordinated Reset Neuromodulation' study (2014–2016), examining neurophysiological interventions for comorbid depression and tinnitus.

His work emphasizes dynamic systems theory in clinical practice, behavioral interventions, and technology-driven mental health solutions. Notable contributions include studies on suicide risk assessment, pandemic coping strategies, and AI-based psychotherapy systems.
