Prof. Dr. Gül Rengin Küçükerdoğan is a Full-Time Professor at the Faculty of Communication in Hasan Kalyoncu University (HKÜ), specializing in Visual Communication Design. She holds a PhD in Publicity and Public Relations (Istanbul University, 1999), Master's in French Language and Education (1993), and Bachelor's in Foreign Language Education (1990), all from Istanbul University.
Her academic leadership roles include serving as Dean of the HKÜ Faculty of Communication (2020), Dean and Vice Dean of the IKU Faculty of Art and Design (2015–2017), and Department Head of Communication Arts (2012–2015). She has been actively involved in institutional governance through roles like Board Member of IKÜ (2009–2015), Strategic Planning Commissioner (2010), and various faculty committees.
Research focuses on semiotics in advertising, intercultural communication, and visual design theory. Her notable books include How to Analyze Advertising? (2009) and Interculturalism in Advertising (2008). She has led projects like the "Daddy, Send Me to School" charity initiative (2006) and the Television and Child research project (2000).
