Géraldine Rix-Lièvre

Géraldine Rix-Lièvre is a Professor at the Université Clermont Auvergne, affiliated with the Faculty of Sports Science (UFR STAPS) and the ACTé laboratory (Activity, Knowledge, Transmission, Education). She specializes in the cognitive anthropology of bodily practices, focusing on sports refereeing, decision-making, and ergonomics in extreme situations.

Her research spans themes such as gender asymmetry in sports officiating, regulatory developments in rugby, and ergonomics in Industry 4.0. She leads projects like "Supporting the Professional Transitions of Referees" (ANR-funded) and has collaborated with institutions like the French Football Federation and Michelin.
