Guy Ziv

Dr. Guy Ziv is an Associate Professor in the Department of Foreign Policy and Global Security at American University’s School of International Service, and Associate Director of AU’s Meltzer Schwartzberg Center for Israel Studies. He specializes in Israeli politics, U.S.-Israel relations, and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Ziv holds a Ph.D., MA, and BA in Political Science, and has published extensively, including books like *Netanyahu vs The Generals* (2024) and *Why Hawks Become Doves* (2014). He has received prestigious awards such as the SIS Scholar-Teacher of the Year (2024-25) and the William Cromwell Award for Teaching (2019). His research bridges academic and policy spheres, appearing in major media outlets like *The New York Times*, *CNN*, and *BBC*.
