Guy Nasmyth

Guy Nasmyth is an Adjunct Associate Professor at Royal Roads University, affiliated with the School of Leadership Studies and the School of Professional and Continuing Studies. He also teaches in the Master of Arts in Community Development program at the University of Victoria.

Nasmyth’s research and practice focus on Leadership Studies, Leadership Development, and Systems Thinking, with an emphasis on Collaborative Processes in Organizational Development and Community Development. He has contributed to international leadership programs, including work in India, Cambodia, and Thailand.

Scientific Awards:

• 2023 Kelly Outstanding Teacher Award (co-winner)

With a background as a former senior leader in the federal government, Nasmyth transitioned to a consulting practice and full-time advisory roles, engaging with government, non-profit, and for-profit organizations. He has facilitated systems thinking workshops in Bangkok, taught leadership in Cambodia, and delivered keynote speeches to groups like the Natural Health Practitioners of Canada.
