Guy Martin is a documentary photographer and Lecturer at Falmouth University, specializing in political and ecological post-truth themes. His work bridges journalism and art, focusing on conflict zones and cultural identities. He has been affiliated with Panos Pictures since 2010 and documented pivotal events like the Arab revolutions (2011–2012).
Key achievements include his seminal book The Parallel State (2018), recognized by Time Magazine and shortlisted for the Aperture/Paris Photo award. His photography has appeared in leading publications such as National Geographic, The New York Times, and Le Monde. Martin’s work has been exhibited globally, including at Les Rencontres de la photographie in Arles and the Sainsbury Centre.
