Guy Genin is the Harold and Kathleen Faught Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Washington University in St. Louis, with cross-appointments in Biomedical Engineering and Neurological Surgery at the School of Medicine. He also serves as Distinguished Visiting Professor at Tsinghua University. His research focuses on mechanobiology, biomechanics, and quantitative imaging, translating insights into medical devices and therapies. He co-directs the NSF Science and Technology Center for Engineering MechanoBiology and CVISE, an NIH-funded cardiovascular innovation center. Genin has launched multiple biomedical startups, including serving as Chief Technology Officer for Vascorra, LLC.
