Guy David

Guy David is the Alan B. Miller Professor of Health Care Management at the Wharton School and Professor of Medical Ethics and Health Policy at the Perelman School of Medicine, University of Pennsylvania. He chairs the Health Care Management Department and serves as a Research Associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research and Senior Fellow at the Leonard Davis Institute of Health Economics.

Publication Trends: His research focuses on antitrust implications in nonprofit hospitals, schedule volatility in healthcare workforce, performance pay incentives in Medicare, and pandemic-related healthcare disruptions. Recent work examines telemedicine adoption, preventive care disruptions, and provider-patient engagement length in home health care.
