Guy Colborne is a Design Manager at Elemental Motor Company Ltd and a freelance Vehicle/Industrial/3D CAD consultant. He graduated from the Royal College of Art (RCA) Vehicle Design programme in 1994. His industry career includes roles at GM Opel, BMW, Daewoo, TWR, and Ford Motor Company, where he contributed to projects like the Ford Focus and Fiesta. He co-founded Elemental Motor Company in 2012, designing the RP1 lightweight sports-car. At the RCA, he served as a Visiting Lecturer (2009–2013) and later as the Urban Flow pathway Tutor (2014 onwards).
His research focuses on mobility solutions for rural communities, under the Intelligent Mobility Design Centre. Notable projects include the Daewoo Mirae concept car and the Autocar 3PV concept.
