Gunther Reisinger is a Lecturer at the Institute for Architectural Theory, Art and Cultural Studies at Graz University of Technology since April 2017. He studied art history and musicology in Graz and Karlsruhe, completing a diploma thesis on internet-based art historical information (2003), a dissertation on digital source studies in humanities (2006), and a habilitation thesis on historical avant-garde manifestos (2017).

His publications include monographs under preparation on digital sources and artists' manifestos as art-historical material. He has co-edited volumes on net-based art, museum multimedia, and art criticism history.
