Gunhild Kvåle is a Professor at the Department of Nordic and Media Studies, University of Agder, Norway. As of 2024, she serves as Vice Dean of Research at the Faculty of Humanities and Education (50% appointment). Her research focuses on multimodal, visual, and digital communication, particularly within educational contexts and broader societal applications. She has been affiliated with UiA for over 20 years, contributing to courses in the MA program in Social Communication and Norwegian language education for teacher training programs.
