Guillermo Parrilla Reverter

Guillermo Parrilla Reverter is an Associate Professor in the Department of Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Murcia. His research focuses on clinical radiology, neuroprotection, and optic nerve degeneration, with expertise in medical imaging and neuroscience.

• Education: PhD in Medicine (2006) from University of Murcia, thesis on quantitative/qualitative analysis of optic nerve injury, neurodegeneration, and neuroprotection.

Research Interests: Clinical radiology, neurodegenerative processes, medical imaging biomarkers, neuroprotective therapies, and ophthalmological neuroscience. His work explores temporal dynamics of neuronal degeneration and expression of neurofilaments.
