Guillermo Campitelli

Professor Guillermo Campitelli serves as Pro Vice Chancellor of the College of Health and Education at Murdoch University. Holds PhD in Psychology from University of Nottingham with research spanning expertise development, decision-making psychology, and Bayesian reasoning.

Co-founded and co-edits Journal of Expertise. Research examines cognitive processes underlying expert decision-making, particularly in chess, using behavioral and neuroscientific methods. Publications appear in top journals including Intelligence and Cognitive Science.

Current work investigates cognitive reflection, inter-temporal choice, and neural correlates of expertise. Teaches Bayesian inference methods and cognitive psychology principles.
