Guido Sanchez-Portuguez

Guido Sanchez-Portuguez is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Music at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where he teaches classical guitar and directs ensembles. A globally recognized guitarist and composer, he maintains an active performance career while contributing to Latin American music scholarship.

Creative output includes award-winning compositions like "Rondó de Vidrio" and "Arenal", alongside recordings such as "Paisaje Urbano" that showcase innovative fusion of regional styles.
