Guido Callegari

Guido Callegari is an Associate Professor at the Department of Architecture and Design (DAD) of the Polytechnic University of Turin, serving as Deputy Coordinator of the Doctoral School of Design and Technology: People, Environment, Systems. He teaches courses in the PhD program Design and Technology. People, Environment, Systems and the Master of Science program Architecture. Construction. Cities, with a focus on off-site construction and technological innovation in architecture.

Guido supervises PhD students in projects related to biomimetic building envelopes, green-blue urban planning, and climate-neutral cities. His funded projects include EU’s H2020 Green Deal, regional Poli di Innovazione, and commercial contracts for wood construction innovation and territorial recycling ecosystems. A National Patent holder for a Prefabricated Composite Panel, he collaborates with institutions like the Institute of Mountain Architecture (IAM) and municipalities on sustainable development.
