Guennadi A. Kouzaev

Guennadi A. Kouzaev is a Professor at the Department of Electronic Systems, NTNU. He holds a PhD in Physics and Mathematics and a Doctor of Sciences in Electrical Engineering. His affiliations include the Faculty of Information Technology and Electrical Engineering and the Circuit and Radio Systems Group.

Education highlights include a PhD from the Kotelnikov’s Institute of Radio Engineering and Electronics (USSR Academy of Science, Moscow) and a Doctor of Sciences degree from the Moscow State Institute of Electronics and Mathematics (Technical University).

Research focuses on Computational Electromagnetics, Microwave Techniques, High-speed Electronics, Quantum Electronics, and AI processors. He has authored/co-authored over 200 publications and a Springer book (2012).

Editorial roles include membership on the boards of journals like Atoms and Wave Physics and Radiotechnical Systems. Awards include the IET NTNU Ambassador Diploma (2008) and Soviet Union Prize (1990).

Professional experience spans NTNU (2005–present), visiting roles at LENS, Florence (2012/2013), and academic positions at Moscow Technical University (1993–2000). He is a member of IEEE and Tekna (Norway).
