Dr. Guendalina Righetti is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Philosophy, Classics, History of Art and Ideas at the University of Oslo. She holds an interdisciplinary background spanning philosophy and computer science, with Master's degrees from Università degli Studi di RomaTre and University of Aix-Marseille, and a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Bozen-Bolzano.
Her research bridges Knowledge Representation, Logics, Cognitive Science and Applied Ontology. Current work focuses on constructional approaches to Formal and Applied Ontology within the C:FORS project, investigating how logical and cognitive theories of concepts can be integrated. Her publications demonstrate strong focus on:
- Formal modeling of conceptual structures
- Ontological foundations of cognitive theories
- Hybrid approaches combining logic and machine learning
