Guangzhou Chen

Dr. Guangzhou Chen is Assistant Professor in Recreation Management & Policy at the University of New Hampshire's College of Health and Human Services. His research examines how events and recreation programs promote community development and healthy living.

Research interests include:

• Sporting events for senior populations
• Virtual event experiences
• Community-based recreation programming
• Physical activity promotion

Publications investigate event management strategies that enhance participation across demographics. Current projects explore virtual event engagement through psychological frameworks and community-based interventions for active aging.
