Assoc. Prof. Guangnan Chen is an Associate Professor in Agricultural Engineering at the University of Southern Queensland (USQ), specializing in sustainable agriculture, renewable energy, and agricultural machinery. He holds a PhD from the University of Sydney (1994) and has over 25 years of teaching experience, including courses on agricultural machinery, renewable energy, and precision technologies. His research focuses on optimizing energy use, mitigating greenhouse gas emissions, and developing sustainable agricultural practices through projects funded by organizations like the Cotton Research and Development Corporation and NSW DPI.
