Guangjun Qu serves as the Hiram L. Jome Professor of Economics and Management and Allen A. Wilkinson Faculty Fellow at DePauw University. An international economist, his work centers on the global implications of U.S. trade and capital flows, with specific focus on trade deficits, global supply chain dynamics, and U.S. dollar hegemony in international finance.
His research investigates U.S. trade policy consequences through student-collaborative projects on the U.S.-China trade war, while also exploring corruption perception through behavioral and psychological lenses. Teaching responsibilities include Macroeconomics and Asian Economies courses examining fiscal/monetary policy impacts and growth trajectories of China, India, Japan, South Korea, and Vietnam.
