Gretel Rodriguez is an Assistant Professor of History of Art and Architecture at Brown University. Her research focuses on the art, architecture, and archaeology of the ancient Roman Empire and Mesoamerica, examining themes of viewership, identity, and cultural interaction. She has conducted fieldwork in Rome, the Bay of Naples, Southern France, and Chiapas, Mexico.
