Gretchen Rudham

Gretchen Rudham is an Associate Professor in Urban Educational Leadership at the Department of Advanced Studies, Leadership and Policy within Morgan State University's School of Education and Urban Studies. She holds a doctorate in Urban Education from Morgan State University (2012), with a Social Policy concentration, and has nearly 20 years of experience teaching urban education, ranging from GED programs in Baltimore to first-year college students at the Community College of Baltimore County. Her international experience includes studying and teaching at the University of Cape Town in South Africa.

Research Interests: Dr. Rudham specializes in social justice leadership, curriculum theory, digital humanities, and technology & futurism. Her work critically examines systems of power and equity in educational contexts, particularly through film analysis and historical inquiry. She has co-authored publications focusing on dismantling white supremacy in curriculum and exploring historical redress in educational frameworks.
